VitrA, a brand that took place during the World War II, is an internationally known brand today dealing in ceramic sanitaryware. Back in 1942, the brand was into making tableware and ornaments and later shifted to manufacture ceramic sanitaryware.
By 1958, VitrA became the first Turkish brand to produce ceramic sanitaryware. The name VitrA was given to the brand in 1966 by the employees of the company. Later in 1972, VitrA produced the first ceramic bath basins, shower trays and wash basins in Turkey.
VitrA entered the export market in 1983 and it was the first Turkish brand to do so. The brand currently has a lot in it's name. With many awards and numeroud recognition, today, VitrA stands among the top most renowned sanitaryware brands in the world.
