World’s Tallest Lord Krishna Statue to come in Gujarat

As a part of the Devbhumi Dwarka Corridor, the world will soon welcome the tallest statue of Lord Krishna, informed the Gujarat Government. It further stated that the work on the first phase of its construction will commence in September next year.

The announcement came in from Gujarat Health Minister Rushikesh Patel after the cabinet meeting was held in Gandhinagar. Aside from constructing the world’s tallest statue of Lord Krishna standing tall at 108ft at Dwarka in Devbhumi Dwarka district, a 3D immersive experience zone and Shirmad Bhagwad Geeta experience zone will also be established in the town. In the first phase of the project, a viewing gallery will showcase the remains of the lost city of Dwarka.

The world-famous Dwarkadhish Temple, which is the main temple at Dwarka, is situated on Gomti creek. It is also known as Jagat Mandir or Trilok Sundar. The minister informed that the government has decided to develop Devbhumi Dwarka Corridor to transform the area into the biggest religious centre in western India.
