Unique Curvilinear Facade and Energy Efficient Features Define Mumbais Newest Residential Marvel | Sanjay Puri Architects | The Garodia Group

Girivan La Quinta, a luxurious residential development located in Chembur, Mumbai, is the latest offering of The Garodia Group. With a skillful blend of modernity and practicality, Sanjay Puri designed this 18-storey edifice. As a luxurious living experience, the project offers a superb blend of convenience, sophistication, and superior amenities that overlook the iconic Bombay Presidency Golf Course. SURFACES REPORTER (SR) recieves more details about the project. Take a look:

It has been designed to accommodate both user needs and location. There are two three-bedroom homes on the lower floors and single, four-bedroom ones on the upper levels. Rooms on the north facade as well as east/west diagonals allow for an abundance of views from varying directions.

The circulation core is on the less appealing south side and every level is equipped with a private room and toilet for staff, providing convenience and privacy to its occupants. Balconies overlook stunning sights of the golf course and surroundings - promoting a tranquil ambience for residents.

Unique Curvilinear Facade

The project stands out from other residential buildings with striking forms achieved by way of spectacular curvilinear wrap details which not only decorate each balcony but also provide seclusion from adjacent apartments on lower floors.

On the upper levels, alterations to the curvilinear frames give rise to bigger balconies for larger apartments. Additionally, both western and eastern facades have two-sided wraps around each window fitted with vertical fins to minimize south-side heat gain and glare while maintaining an open view towards the north.

Energy Efficient Features

The building has been designed to fit its environment; the dwellings have been focused towards the north and a service core has been integrated, with no south-facing windows. Shear sunbreakers prevent excess heat from entering, whilst adding an aesthetic element that enhances the property's identity.

The internal layouts have been created with minimal circulation paths to maximize living space and this allows living areas to extend onto wide balconies that face towards the golf course to the north, permitting lots of sunlight and protection from Mumbai's SW monsoon rain.

Easy Connectivity

Girivan La Quinta stands out with its unmatched proximity to the city's major hubs, just a few minutes away from the BKC flyover, Eastern Express Highway and Eastern Freeway. Furthermore, India's first Monorail project linking Chembur to Wadala & proposed Metro line connecting Chembur to central & western suburbs, as well as Santacruz Chembur Link Road to existing international airport & BKC - Chunabhatti flyover make it a desired destination for seamless connectivity. Residents of Girivan La Quinta gain easy access to all the business districts, entertainment centers and urban conveniences.

Amenities and security Features

The project offers plenty of excellent amenities. Residents can retreat to the full gym, hot tub, and spa to improve their health and wellbeing. A modern banquet hall is available for any occasion or celebration, and kids have both indoor and outdoor spots designed just for them. Senior citizens benefit from a shared space that promotes a sense of belonging. Vehicle owners have 6 levels of parking with 2 car lifts to make sure their vehicles are secure.

There is also a landscaped terrace garden where people can ponder nature while doing outdoor yoga or appreciating the view from the observation platform. For added safety, Girivan La Quinta features an earthquake-resistant RCC superstructure, an owner-specific lift, LED way-finding directives, and Vastu-compliant design that encourages positive energy flow.

Furthermore, to demonstrate its commitment to quality and timely delivery, it obtained an OC (Occupancy Certificate) 6 months prior schedule.
