Our MCM Modified Clay is a Material for Today’s Generation: Ruchi Gupta, BR Ceramics

On the opening day of THE WADE ASIA 2025, held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, BR Ceramics took to the stage for a compelling presentation as part of the Brand Presentation series showcasing partner brands under Material Review. Led by Ruchi Gupta, a trained interior designer turned entrepreneur, the presentation narrated the essence of design and collaboration. Blending tradition and modern design

Gupta commenced her presentation by highlighting a universal truth among architects, “Floors and walls are not mere surfaces but canvases, waiting for design to breathe life into them.” She emphasized that a space is crafted not just from physical elements but woven together by feelings and stories that bring it alive. This perspective set the tone for understanding BR Ceramics' philosophy. “Designing without limits is not just my journey; it is the journey of my company BR Ceramics BRAC,” she added.

With over 60 years of legacy, BR Ceramics is positioned not just as a manufacturer and distributor but as a collaborator with architects, turning their ideas into materials. The brand blends fine global sourcing with its in-house production in Gujarat to create a seamless design ecosystem supporting architects through experience centres, franchises and after-sale services. BR Ceramics represents multiple brands including BRAC Rossera and Biba and enjoys an extensive presence across India including 25 plus states and five Union Territories alongside over 1200 channel partners, 15 lakh sqft of ready inventory and strategic warehouses, ensuring availability wherever a project takes place. This accessibility and reach back the brand’s claim of being a reliable partner throughout the design journey.

Redefining surfaces

Gupta further introduced their signature product range of tiles, made from imported finest materials from Spain, Italy and China and crafted in Gujarat. “Our MCM Modified Clay is a material for today’s generation. It is a 90 per cent natural clay product that is eco-friendly, flexible, waterproof, and fireproof,” she elaborated. The presentation, further, showcased mosaic collections made from stone, aluminium and tiles, crafted with precision allowing architects infinite design possibilities. “Our Artisan collection, made of handmade tiles, celebrates emotion, colour and narrative, enabling users to create personal stories through design,” she added, “Also, stone CNC transforms surfaces into sculptural art.”

Lastly, Kollar, a distinguished brand under BR Ceramics, was highlighted for its elegance and storytelling capabilities. “It completes the design journey seamlessly by integrating with our surfaces to create timeless pieces,” she concluded as the brand’s core philosophy of design without limits and invited architects and designers to partner in this limitless journey of design by promising innovation, craftsmanship and support.
