Mr Yuvraj S Rajan, Director, Raiaskaran received the prestigious LEED Platinum certificate from Mr Gopalakrishnan P, MD, GBCI, SE Asia and MENA, at the award unveiling ceremony that was organised at the Raiaskaran Tech Park on July 8, 2022.

A LEED certification reflects that a facility prioritizes sustainable green building practices. Part of the LEED green building grading system that is independently supervised by the US Green Building Council (USGBC), GBCI is India’s foremost sustainable building design, construction and operation authority.

Catering to the world’s leading companies, Raiaskaran Tech Park has been rated as one of Maharashtra’s top three professional private IT parks. Keeping in touch with the rich Indian culture, Raiaskaran is known to have created spaces that stand out. On receiving the certification, an elated Mr Rajan said, “This award demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and a greener form of real estate. At Raiaskaran, art, Indian luxury and sustainability are fundamental to all we do. Our structure incorporates art and design themes from worldwide. Our LEED Platinum accreditation demonstrates our dedication to giving our staff and clients productive, sustainable and healthy working environments.” Applauding Raiaskaran’s achievement, Mr Gopalakrishnan P commented, “What Raiaskaran Group has done is absolutely incredible. India is at the forefront of the green building movement, and developers like Raiaskaran play a critical role. The sustainability movement is gaining steam, thanks to LEED-certified buildings.” Mr Gopalakrishnan P believes that in the coming years, growth will be driven by residential green projects, where LEED is expected to collaborate closely with builders such as Raiaskaran and state governments to provide a sustainable foundation.
