Mahindra Group, Mahindra Lifespaces Developers

The real estate and infrastructure development arm of Mahindra Group, Mahindra Lifespaces Developers recently introduced Pune’s first Biophilia -inspired homes through Mahindra Bloomdale Developers. Located in Pimpri, Mahindra Nestalgia will be offering its residents a community experience that is inspired by human beings’ instinctive connection with nature through the building’s sustainable natural materials, textures, patterns and shapes that will be reminiscent of one’s childhood. The launch is a step to strengthen its presence in Pune, where Mahindra Nestalgia is Mahindra Lifespaces Developers’ tenth project in the city. Know more about the project on SURFACES REPORTER (SR).

Spread across 2.79 acre, which had been acquired by Mahindra Lifespaces in March 2022, Phase 1 of Mahindra Nestalgia comprises 249 units of 2BHK and 3 BHK, ranging from 730 sqft to 1040 sqft. The project has been designed with nostalgia-inducing aesthetics with Biophilia-inspired homes that will enable physical, psychological, social and spiritual well-being. Enveloped in lush green expanses, the project will include a Koi pond, an 8-shaped foot chi, gupshup adda, rain benches and an elder’s parklet for residents to enjoy nature within the safe perimeter of the project. The project also offers low-flow water fixtures, solar water heaters, LED lighting in common areas, waste segregation, etc.

Additionally, the project has been pre-certified with a Gold rating by the IGBC. Mahindra Nestalgia will reportedly help conserve up to 7 per cent of energy annually, reduce dependency on external water sources by 52 per cent and divert 90 per cent of waste away from landfills. With an estimated Rs 300 crore investment, the four-tower project is expected to be completed in 2027.

Reportedly, Mahindra Lifespaces is also in plans to purchase nearly 500 acre along the Pune-Solapur road to create a mega industrial park, which will be an alternative to areas such as Chakan.
