Considering the demographics of the family and their expectations, the design proposal had to be contemporary and conjunct in behaviour.

Smart Design Interventions

A similar design language throughout the house, yet a unique take in all the spaces defines itself as a classic outlook.

The design accommodates all the dead niches and is revitalized into storage. This is made into built with the help of wooden panels, louvered doors, and full height mirrors.

Choice of Materials and Colours

The material finishes and the fixtures are handpicked for the client. Having a classy outlook to the entire residence, seamless vertical wooden louvers camouflage the door with a golden handle extruding itself. All the rooms have the use of dull pastels, with different shades.

Take On Sustainability

Talking about their take on sustainability, Shivangi says, “For me, sustainability is meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

lodha-amara-residence-surfaces-reporterFor this, we always encourage clients to reuse their old furniture as much as possible which are in good shape by creatively revamping them. As designers, we also discourage them to go for major breaking and we try and weave the designs around the existing finishes.
