How to Enter:
- Submit your registration E-form before 5th March 2022.
- NO registration fees for entering the competition.
- All can participate in the respective age categories.
- All participants must submit the Bird House as per your own design by 13th March 2022.
Rules:
- Every registration can submit maximum of 3 Bird houses.
- The Bird House should not be larger than 2'6"(L) x 2'6" (W) x 2'6"(H).
- Material selected to build the Bird house should be suitable for outdoor use in all seasons.
- The design and style must be unique and not copied from the Internet. All entries must contain copyright-free artwork.
- Participation will be considered on completing the below mentioned criteria.
The participant shall:
— Upload a picture of the bird house along with the participant on social media and tag STAR INDIA (Social media handles as mentioned)
— Send the Bird House you have made to the address provided before 10th March 2022.
— Mention the following details clearly:
- Name of the Bird House
- Age category
- Participant name
- Address & Email ID and
- Contact number, before submitting.
— Submit a write up of inspiration in 50- 200 words about the design.
Results:
- Entries will be accepted till 13th March 2022.
- Results will be announced through Facebook, Instagram and our website within 10 (Ten) working days - on 20th March, which is World Sparrow Day.
- An official mail will be sent to the winners.
Eligibility:
Category I: Below 15 years
Category II: 16-25 years
Category III: 26-40 years
Category IV: Above 41 years
- Minor participants are allowed to participate in this Competition with guardian or parental permission.
- Participation in this Competition is purely voluntary and by participating you are subject to the rules and regulations herein.
- STAR INDIA shall not charge any amount for participation in the Competition and the sole criteria for participation shall be submitting entries in the manner stipulated below.
- Participants who fail to comply with the rules & regulations of the Competition will be disqualified.

Rules and Regulations
- This Competition will be governed by these standard Rules and Regulations. Each participant agrees that he/she has read and understood these terms and by their participation in the Competition, each participant agrees to be bound by the rules. Mere participation should not be perceived as any commitment on the part of STAR INDIA to select a participant as the winner. Nothing herein amounts to a commitment by STAR INDIA to conduct further, similar or other Competitions in future.
- Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the promotion will be directed to STAR INDIA.
- All information regarding the Competition will be intimated either through website, by Instagram live, by Instagram Stories or by Instagram feed posts. Participants are requested to stay tuned on Instagram, Facebook as well as on our website.• Multiple entries upto a maximum of 3 (Three) designs - Bird House, per person during the Competition Period will be entertained.
- A group entry will be considered as single entry.
- STAR INDIA reserves the right to change the rules and regulations of this Competition, including extending, withdrawing or discontinuing the same without notice, without assigning any reason, at its sole discretion without any liability.
- STAR INDIA reserves the right to substitute either any part of prize or whole prize for similar prize of equal or greater value.
- Upon submissions, participants acknowledge that the submitted materials will automatically be the sole property of STAR INDIA. In consideration of STAR INDIA providing the Competition, each participant grants STAR INDIA an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, worldwide, royalty-free license on each of the materials submitted including, but not limited to, all copyrights, trademarks, patents and any other intellectual property in the materials submitted. STAR INDIA therefore reserve the right to use, store, copy, display, advertise, transmit, transfer, distribute, reproduce, create derivative works of, incorporate into other works, publicly perform and/or publish the submitted materials in any media for any purpose whatsoever.
- STAR INDIA shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any claims, losses, damage, costs or expenses in connection with or arising from this Competition, the redemption or use of the prize.
- To the extent only permitted by applicable law, STAR INDIA reserves the right to use the winner's image, photograph, name and likeness in post-promotion publicity material and in advertising, marketing or promotional material in any media by any means throughout India for any purpose connected with the products/services of STAR INDIA without additional compensation or prior notice to the winners and all participants consent to the same.
- In the event of any inconsistency between these rules and regulations and any advertising, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with this promotion, these Rules and Regulations shall prevail.
- STAR INDIA reserves the right to request proof of a participant's eligibility in the event that there is a doubt over his/her eligibility for the promotion.
- Subject to applicable laws, STAR INDIA shall not be liable for any losses, taxes, liabilities or inconvenience suffered by any participant as a result of these rules and regulations , entering into this Competition or accepting any part of the prize.
- STAR INDIA accepts no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this Competition. STAR INDIA does not accept responsibility for
— Lost, late or undelivered entries; or
— Any technical or access issue, failure, malfunction or difficulty that might hinder the ability of a participant to enter the Competition; or
— Any event which may cause the Competition to be disrupted or corrupted.
- Entrants are deemed to accept these rules and regulations by entering the Competition.

Prize:
- Winners of the Competition will be decided on basis of unique creativity, innovation and artistic representation and thereby selected as per the discretion of STAR INDIA and that fulfil the eligibility criteria.
- The Winner standing first will be eligible to a prize of 5 numbers of STAR INDIA (Lifetime Membership) kits worth INR. 19,975/-. The application or use or translation of such winning design is subject to the sole discretion of STAR INDIA. No action can be taken in any manner, whatsoever, for STAR INDIA deciding against such winning design being used/applied/translated into actual use.
- The Winner standing second and third in-line will be eligible to receive 3 numbers of STAR INDIA (Lifetime Membership) kits worth INR. 11,985/- and 1 number of STAR INDIA (Lifetime Membership) kit worth INR. 3995/-respectively.
- Each participant consents to the use of information supplied by the participant in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the participant, by STAR INDIA.
- The decision of STAR INDIA will be final and binding.
- Total Prizes worth Rs 1,80,000/- to be won along with lifetime membership of STAR INDIA
Prize Claim:
- The winner/s needs to submit all the details as per the requirements of STAR INDIA and within the stipulated time frame in order to claim the prize. Your portrait photograph, your Instagram details, complete home address, and your mobile number.
- The winners will be notified by STAR INDIA via an e-mail addressed from starindiasparrow@gmail.com or our Instagram page story or feed post.
- STAR INDIA will endeavour to contact the Winner in and around 5-10 working days after announcing the winners, in case the COVID situation prevails.
