French studio Niveau Zero Atelier has ingeniously repurposed waste clay from construction sites across Paris, employing a meticulous process to transform it into the core padding of a groundbreaking chaise lounge showcased at the Collectible design fair in Brussels. Encased in clear plastic, the clay, kept moist within the vacuum-sealed sheath, conforms to the body of the sitter, reminiscent of Play-Doh’s pliability.
