Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan thanked Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi and Nitin Gadkari for sanctioning funds for the project. He stated that the fund allocated by the government would be used for road construction and land acquisition for the 9.1 km long stretch, as Odisha as the state has been a top priority for the central government.
Ease Traffic and Smooth Mobility
The stretch from Jagannath Mandir to Ram Mandir is often crowded, leading to routine traffic jams and road accidents. The construction of this bypass road will solve this long-pending problem and will help ease traffic and ensure smooth mobility for daily commuters. The road will start at Daibhata and end at Patramunda, reducing the traffic load in Nabarangpur town.
“Now people, who do not have work in the town, can bypass it and save their precious time. Heavy vehicles which do not have loading or unloading work in the town can use the bypass road, he concluded.
