Roca’s W+W Unify Basin and Toilet in One Piece to Bring Elegance and Sustainability to Bathrooms | SURFACES REPORTER Material Update

The Roca W+W is an amalgamation of innovation and technology that resonates with the benefit of sustainable progress. Synonymous with saving water and optimising space, the collection is designed by Milan designers Gabriele and Oscar Buratti in collaboration with Roca Innovation Lab.

Its compact design of uniting basin and the toilet in one single piece offers bathroom space with a unique personality. The combined toilet and washbasin, where waste water from the sink is used to fill the toilet cistern, filters the washbasin water so it can be reused in the toilet. A unique, distinct and original design that brings elegance and sustainability to the bathroom, the Roca W+W’s innovative technology is sustainable.

Roca’s new water-reuse technology uses waste water from the basin to fill the WC cistern, thereby reducing water usage by up to 25 per cent compared to a standard 6/3 l dual-flush WC. The basin, integrated on the upper part of the toilet tank, allows the reuse of water. Another system discards the waste water, while a powerful filtering system keeps the remaining water clean and disinfected.
