Varsha graduated with a Bachelor’s in Architecture from the reputed, College of Engineering, Trivandrum. Won the Pidilite award for topping Urban Design Studio in semester 9. After Graduation, she joined Design Combine, Kochi working with the veteran Architect Ramesh Tharakan. Under him, she learned the nuances of detailing and the magnificence of Tropical Modern Architecture.

After working at Design Combine for two years, she joined CEPT University to pursue a Master’s in Interior Architecture and Design. The respected faculties at CEPT helped her  research skills. Her course covered varying subjects of History and Criticism, Energy and sustainability, Craft and Technology, and even Parametric and Generative Design, giving them a profound experience to go out and practice Architecture with an ability to analyze each project, introduce innovations while retaining vernacular aspects, in essence, provide well-rounded solutions. She spend a year as an Associate Architect handling multi-dwelling residential projects, residences, hospitals, and commercial projects at Chandramohan Associates, Trivandrum before settling down in Kochi. In between, She won the winning entry award for a Furniture Design competition held by Young Architects Forum, IIA, Cochin Centre. She also took up an ad-hoc faculty position at her alma mater in 2013 and later held the position of Head of the Department for Interior Design at Cindrebay School of Design, Kochi.

Varsha co-founded Studio Vista Architects in 2018, with partners Ar. Shariga Ravi who is a former colleague, and Ar. Anupama Nandakumar, a former classmate at CEPT University. Together as an all-women power-packed team, they approach every project with a zeal, each bringing their unique traits into the design development. They believe that there is no "one-fits-all" solution to every design. For them, their design development starts from the very first meeting with their clients. They make it a point to listen to them – their story, their background, their lifestyle, and their needs. Together with the understanding of the clients and a study of the context, the design development is a passionate experience of bouncing ideas and breaking down the needs and characteristics of the occupants and attempting to produce something that reflects them in every respect. Macaw’s Nest (submitted entry for WADE Awards) is one such project.
