Mumbai-based architecture firm +V Architects designed a resto-bar in uptown Andheri. Spread across two levels, this all-day eatery has a modern, eclectic Mediterranean theme running across the entire space. SURFACES REPORTER (SR) feels that the firm has carried off the entire Mediterranean look brilliantly in the restaurant. It has marvellously introduced textures and shades of white and teal in the interiors.

Principal architects Varun Kapoor and Karan Kapoor drew inspiration from the Mediterranean region and thought to bring the same to Mumbai. And that’s why they used the flashes of simple blue, white and teal colour theme in the interiors as well as the exterior of the coast.
From the colours, furnishings, and art pieces, every item embraces the feel of the Mediterranean.
The restaurant spans across both floors. According to them, hosting an expansive bar with a vivid collection of drinks, the idea was to create an experience unlike any other in the city.

The design is seamless with vintage artifacts procured from across the globe and elements which bring the theme together.
The firm decided to do just enough lighting on the tables and the peripheries to create a warm ambiance, yet making it a comfortable space to be in and enjoy your time.
