It is crucial to leverage the benefits of technology for maintaining health and safety in urban spaces. The Bandra collective’s sixth module is based on this. Surfaces Reporter has covered each of the module presented by Bandra Collective in detail. You can check out all the other five modules links at the bottom of this post.
Bandra Collective encourages the use of technologies such as targeted live feed and people counts for spaces like markets and parks. They anticipate that people would quickly log on to such systems and view the amount of crowd before leaving the home for any shopping / leisure activity.
Architects hope that people will make wise decisions guided by the mobile application and help disperse the crowd over a larger span of time at public spaces - leading to a safer city.
