Eating out in Quarantined Greenhouse!

It is said that need is the mother of invention. Following the same, Mediamatic ETEN restaurant in Netherland has come up with the idea of ‘Quarantined Greenhouse’ wherein customers can eat out while maintaining social distancing.

Sitting atop the bank of Canal, lit by candlelight, there are stand beautiful glass structures that will only allow people who live in the same house. Currently, the trial service that encompasses Veg only menu is only being offered to family and friends of staff. As per the company website, all upcoming reservations are sold out.

Netherland’s Mediamatic ETEN is a restaurant is offering its guest to observe social distancing while eating out by serving them in their own personal quarantine greenhouses.

Waiters wear gloves and face shields while using long boards to bring dishes into the greenhouses to diners to minimize any risk of infections.

Such innovative ideas are the need of the hour where traditional designs are being challenged by the current pandemic situation. SR hopes to see such novel ideas being implemented across the world as well.
