With this pandemic Coronavirus becoming more and more dangerous globally, we had already started working at 50% of our capacity since March 10th. We had directed only half of our staff to report to work every day and alternating them as well so not everyone would need to travel by local bus, trains etc.
So 50% of the team was working with their laptops from home. Client quotations, presentations, etc. could be done by the team from home. These are testing times but society and fellow countrymen first then the organisation and business.
We have informed all our clients and requested them to cooperate with us to fight this global crisis. Since ours is a Bathware and Tiles store the maximum problem is faced by our Warehouse and Dispatch department. As they cannot make any dispatches or deliveries. But sincerely I feel after speaking to my Italian and Chinese Vendors, it is very important to work from home and stay isolated from the community.
