Our Parliament Building May Get a Makeover Soon

Our Parliament Building Needs a New Look as per the New India, feels Lok Sabha Speaker, Mr Om Birla

The citizens of India are already in great spirits with continuous reforms happening in the county based on vital decisions taken within the temple of the Indian Republic, The Parliament of India. Well, we have more good news. We may soon have a more magnificent looking Parliament Building in the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi intends to create a ‘Naya Bharat’ by the time India completes 75 years of freedom in 2022. To add more jazz to the event, Mr Om Birla, Speaker of Lok Sabha has urged him to include the expansion and modernisation of the Parliament Building in his resolution. That would definitely be an exciting way to mark the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of India's freedom!

India is the largest democracy in the world. Under the leadership of the current government, it is achieving new milestones every day, gaining a stronger position in the world map, and it's time that the powerhouse of the country stands out as the "most magnificent and attractive" building of the world.

The 'New or Revamped Parliament building' proposition of Mr Om is an interesting one, and we are keen to see how architects from around the world go creative in creating the latest wonder of the world, right here in our Motherland.
