An Illuminating Hole

An Illuminating Hole

Pollice Illuminazione is one of the most innovative and bespoken actors in the lighting design scene since 1908. The brass sculpture lamps are designed by Florencia Costa. Light is in fact treated as a matter, with its own consistency and body, able to fascinate.

The lamps are characterised by a thin reflecting surface suspended in a vacuum. The light filters over the front screens exalting the boundaries, dialoguing with the shadow, inviting the eye to go further, to explore the depth of the volumes.

The design has got originally published in the August Issue of Surfaces Reporter Magazine.

We invite designers from around the world to share their creations with us at
