Glamorous Furniture Designs Inspired by Nature from Hsiang Han Design Studio

The inspiration of Leaf Chair comes from leaf veins. During the design process, the makers explored the relationship between leaf structure and its form to create a contemporary chair of strong structure with flowing lines and harmonious shape. 

The colour plan of the product is just as the leaves change colour in different seasons.

Technology: Injection Molding

Vortex Inspired Designing

The stool uses a swirling structure to present the beauty of fluid flow and also to achieve loadbearing strength and lightweight features. This design is made of plastic blow moulding. It is solid, lightweight, waterproof and anti UV, proper for both home and outdoor spaces.

Technology: Blow Molding

The pieces are designed by Hsiang Han Design Studio, which is a multi-disciplinary design studio based in Taipei & Milan. It gets inspired by nature and concentrates on exploring bionic and combination with technology. The design range covers lighting, furniture objects, tech products, kids’ toys and even concept design.

The design has got originally published in the Special Milan Issue of Surfaces Reporter Magazine. It is part of the 100 Designs from across the world captured at Milan Design Week 2019.
