Alan Williams is a metal artist & sculptor based in the UK. His pieces are mostly made from found and reclaimed metal. Even as a child he would create fantastical hybrid creations using old broken toys and a tube of superglue.
Often taking inspiration from wildlife, myth and legend, he has exhibited and sold work in the UK, overseas, and created several public artworks and architectural instillations.
“Cutlery, car, motorbike and bicycle parts make up a large percentage of the materials used in the Sculptures.”
Everyone must have heard of the Chandigarh’s famed rock garden where one man, using waste materials, created a beauty that left people awestruck. Something similar is being done by Alan Williams who uses reclaimed metal. Cutlery, car, motorbike and bicycle parts make up a large percentage of the materials he uses.
