Built by Sawai Madho Singh at the cusp of 18th and 19th centuries, Madhavendra Palace in Nahargarh Fort, Jaipur will again open on December 9, 2018 with a new display of works. This time, Nature Morte founder, artist and park curator Peter Nagy will take us inside this second edition of the Sculpture Park.
The contemporary sculpture exhibition will be one-of-a-kind showcase entails both grand and intimate artworks by artists from India and abroad. Even some site-specific installations will also be displayed for the first time in the event.
Titular Jaipur royal Padmanabh Singh will host the event. And Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and her fiancé Nick Jonas will also attend the event. Leading Indian and international artists will be a part of this event, including Tanya Goel, Reena Saini Kallat, Shreyas Karle, Savia Mahajan, Vikram Goyal, Bijoy Jain, Manisha Parekh, LN Tallur and Asim Waqif, and Mahbubur Rahman (Bangladesh), Achia Anzi (Israel), Harold Ancart (Belgium), Michel Francois (Belgium), Richard Long, Mark Prime (UK) and Lynn Chadwick.
Major international galleries such as Otto Zoo and David Zwirner, Blain Southern will also participate in the show.
