Ayodhya, a city rich in cultural and religious heritage, is on the verge of welcoming its first seven-star hotel, dedicated exclusively to vegetarians. This luxurious establishment will boast 56 fully air-conditioned rooms, each exquisitely decorated with distinctive themes. Additionally, the hotel will host Naivedyam, an upscale vegetarian restaurant designed to satisfy the refined tastes of its guests.

Influx of Recognized Hotel Chains

Ayodhya is witnessing a notable influx of renowned hotel chains, as several investors from the hospitality sector make substantial investments in the sacred city. Notably, a proposal to construct a seven-star vegetarian-only hotel has been acknowledged by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The city has received 25 proposals for hotel setups, including this unique venture.

Five-Star Hotels Along Sarayu River

In addition to the proposed seven-star hotel, plans are underway to build several five-star hotels along the banks of the Sarayu River. A considerable number of small and large hoteliers, totaling 110, are acquiring land in Ayodhya for their ventures. The city is currently witnessing around 50 major hotel construction projects in progress, reflecting the growing significance of Ayodhya as a hospitality hub.

Major Players in Hotel Development

Key players in the hospitality industry, including Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), Marriott International, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, have already sealed deals to establish hotels in Ayodhya. The slated operational timeframe for these hotels is 2024, aligning with the city's rapid transformation.

Real Estate Boom and Mega Investments

Beyond hospitality, Ayodhya has emerged as a prime destination for real estate investors. Mumbai-based real estate firm, The House of Abhinandan Lodha, has invested approximately Rs 300 crore in acquiring a substantial 25-acre land parcel in Ayodhya. The company is set to launch a plotted development project in January 2024, strategically positioned 12 to 15 minutes from the Shri Ram Temple.

Celebrity Investment in The Sarayu Project

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has joined the league of investors in Ayodhya, reportedly investing in The Sarayu project developed by The House of Abhinandan Lodha. While the exact details of the deal remain confidential, industry sources suggest a 10,000 square feet plot valued at Rs 14.5 crores.

Ayodhya is changing a lot with different investments and big projects. It's becoming a popular place for people looking for spiritual experiences and smart investors who want to put their money in growing opportunities.
