Yatin Patel is the founder director of DSP Design Associates Pvt. ltd. Started off as Yatin Patel & Associates in 1989, the firm soon was joined by Mehul Shah & Bimal Desai and transformed into the present firm, DSP Design Associates Pvt. Ltd. The firm ranked 66th among 100 architectural practices globally by World Architecture (WA)100 in 2018, developing over 400 million sq-ft across 1,000+ projects.
Patel’s DSP has a portfolio of corporate projects including IT parks and high-functioning office interiors. He offers design solutions having global and contextual approach such as the LEED compliant project of Pega Systems office in Hyderabad which is a global facility that interlaced with design elements reflecting the rich Nizam culture of the city. DSP won its first independent international assignment for Tata Housing—One Colombo in Sri Lanka.
Yatin Patel has been honoured with the Leaders of Indian Infrastructure and Construction Award by The Economic Times Acetech Award (2019), the Indian Achievers Award for Construction & Design by All India Achievers Foundation (2009) and the International Gold Star Awards for Excellence in Design (2004) by The International Economic Forum.
