Identita Golose to Interpret the Present and Future of Cuisine at Salone Del Mobile.Milano 2022

Salone Del Mobile.Milano 2022

After its successful appearance at supersalone, Identita Golose is renewing and bolstering its collaboration with the Salone del Mobile.Milano with sustainability at the forefront this year, along with the celebrations for the 60th edition of the trade fair.

Its decision to do so follows not just the huge success of the innovative gastronomic concept presented at supersalone where public appreciation of its high quality came through loud and clear but also and especially the vision of intent that brings both concepts together. The common thread between Identita Golose and the 60th edition of the Salone del Mobile is, therefore, respect for the environment and its resources. This is precisely why a new gastronomic project will take shape in Pavilion 15, dedicated to S.Project, as a part of the Design with Nature project, curated and designed by architect Mario Cucinella, which will explore a new dimension of design – producing and living in syntony with nature.

Thus, even the dishes created by the chefs involved in Identita Golose will help spectators understand that we can lessen the impact on the environment a little bit more every day by rethinking our approach to cooking and the creation of dishes. The dishes on offer will serve to trigger reflection on the way we shop, how we choose our ingredients and how we cook and consume them, thereby cutting waste to a minimum and adopting a more ethical and sustainable approach.

Its second and principal location will offer to the visitors a voyage of discovery into the most iconic creations of some of Italy’s top chefs and artisans. Ecological, creative and productive approaches will come together to promote Italian cuisine, dispensing with the usual stereotypes. It will again be a great feast – not just for the palate – during which assorted gourmet dishes and products can be sampled, all available to purchase and take away or consumed then and there in a large convivial space.

Identita Golose at the Salone del Mobile.Milano will be co-authoring an inspirational project that channels Italy’s excellent creativity in the food realm into a varied and joyful experience, making food an integral part of the wonders of the exhibition and a further key to responsible design for the future.
