Ar Sheila Sri Prakash Wins Life Time Achievment Award at BAM Awards 2019

A globally renowned architect, Sheila Sri Prakash recently honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award 2019 in the field of Architecture Builders, Architects and Building Materials (BAM) Awards.

A globally renowned architect, Sheila Sri Prakash recently honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award 2019 in the field of Architecture Builders, Architects and Building Materials (BAM) Awards. The award ceremony held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, where the Founder and Chief Architect of Shilpa Architects Planners Designers received this accolade for her remarkable contribution in the domain of architecture.

BAM awards are generally presented, in collaboration with CII Real Estate & Building Technology Exhibition, every year to recognize and felicitate the top architects, developers, consultants and building material industry for their exceptional contribution and achievements to the growth of Indian real estate sector.

Ambassador of Finland- Ms Nina Vaskunlahti, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Govt. of India- Shri Rahul Shewale and Editor-in-Chief, Construction Times- Shri Ramamurthy Mayavan presented this award to Sheila Sri Prakash.

However, architect Sheila Sri Prakash was not available at the award function during that day. So, her colleague received this award on her behalf.

In 2016, Ms Vertica Dvivedi, Founder WADe India Awards, Director at Bigsea Marcom (I) Pvt. Ltd. and Founder/Editor at Surfaces Reporter Magazine Editor also presented the WADe Role Model award to Architect Sheila Sri Prakash at the WADe India (Women Architects & Designers) Event & Awards function at The Leela Ambience, Gurgaon. The award recognizes Mrs Sri Prakash’s contribution to the field of Architecture and Design.

Mrs Sri Prakash was also part of the panel “Challenges for Women Architect/Designer to Start Own Practice in India and the Ways to Overcome”.  The Panel was designed to understand the challenges faced by the women entrepreneurs in this industry and to share a professional journey.
